// NewsSCTE Announces New Board Appointment
The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) is looking towards internationalization with the appointment of their latest member to the board of directors in Bill Warga. Warga, vice president, technology and a member of the chief architecture group for Liberty Global, will replace Time Warner Cable’s Mike LaJoie, whose term is set to expire this year.
Warga currently oversees the research and evaluations of new technologies in both Europe and the United States for Liberty Global.
