// NewsCableLabs Distinguished Technologist to Speak on AI Reliability at 2025 IEEE Conference
Jason Rupe, Distinguished Technologist at CableLabs, will participate in a panel discussion on “AI for Reliability and Reliability of AI” at the 2025 IEEE Conference on Artificial Intelligence. The conference will take place May 5-7, 2025, in Santa Clara, California.
The AI reliability panel will explore the dual challenges of implementing AI to improve system reliability while ensuring AI systems themselves meet stringent reliability requirements. This intersection is particularly relevant as AI increasingly integrates into mission-critical infrastructure across telecommunications, healthcare, and smart city applications, for examples. Key discussion points will include the IEEE Reliability Society Roadmap, AI-driven health management models, reliable and explainable AI, uncertainty quantification, and emerging reliability standards for AI deployment.
The session aims to bring together researchers, engineers, and policymakers working at the frontier of reliable AI development. Find out more information about the conference and registration details.
