It has launched new services like aviation and direct-to-cell and is preparing to deploy V3 satellites with significantly increased bandwidth capacity. Meanwhile, other low Earth orbit (LEO) players are emerging as competitors. This presentation explores recent developments in the sector and assesses their implications for cable providers, highlighting both competitive threats and opportunities presented by the growing importance of satellite connectivity in the broadband industry.
