Kyrio® is hosting a Flexible MAC Architecture interoperability event on behalf of CableLabs® from January 10-14, 2020 at the CableLabs Louisville, CO office. This will be a hybrid event; therefore, participation can be in-person or remote.
This event provides vendors the opportunity to test their products in a multi-vendor environment and/or with Kyrio-provided testing platforms. To ensure interoperable implementations of the CableLabs specifications, CableLabs and Kyrio are hosting the interoperability event for the Flexible MAC Architecture (FMA) to provide vendors an opportunity to test pre-production and development versions of hardware devices and software applications. The event will provide a variety of manufacturers an opportunity to work together in the Kyrio laboratory environment to develop and test interoperable solutions.
For those participating remotely, we will allow remote connections into the lab for each participating vendor to interact with their equipment and we will provide additional on-site support to facilitate testing. We will also set up a Zoom conferencing connection and Slack channel to allow open discussion between the on-site and remote participants, as we work through the testing. There will be support from the Kyrio and CableLabs staff to make the event as productive as possible.
All in-person attendees must abide by the following CableLabs COVID-19 Protocols to enter the Louisville office. Click here for CableLabs COVID-19 Protocols
NOTE: To participate, a supplier must both bring equipment designed to be compliant to the CableLabs specification and have a signed DOCSIS® NDA and IPR agreement on file at CableLabs.
All participants must register for the event whether attending virtually or in-person.
