// NewsJason Rupe, CableLabs Distinguished Technologist, to Present on 6G Reliability at IEEE Roundtable in Prague
Jason Rupe, Distinguished Technologist at CableLabs, has been invited to speak at the IEEE Emerging Technologies Reliability Roundtable 2025, taking place May 19-21 at the Hotel Grandium in Prague.
Rupe will deliver a session titled “Designing and Managing 6G for Reliability,” examining how 6G networks represent a paradigm shift from previous generations. His presentation will explore how communication has evolved from human interaction to data, compute, and machine connectivity, requiring new approaches to reliability engineering.
The annual roundtable brings together experts to address Reliability, Availability, and Serviceability (RAS) challenges in emerging technologies. This year’s edition focuses specifically on vehicular networks, examining how 6G can meet the strict requirements of autonomous and electric vehicles where communication reliability directly impacts passenger safety.
The event will also cover AI trustworthiness, mission-critical industrial applications, and security aspects of network resilience. Discussions will center on how 6G technologies—still in the research phase—must be developed with these reliability requirements in mind. Learn more.
