Cablefax recently posted a video of CableLabs President and CEO Phil McKinney with interviewer Alex Silverman at this year’s SCTE Cable-Tec Expo. The interview was distributed through Cablefax’s Video Series newsletter, in which Phil McKinney was quoted highlighting CableLabs’ extensive work in wireless, “wireless is actually our largest research area – we have more researchers focused on wireless today than we even have on DOCSIS.” CableFax also discussed the significance of Full Duplex DOCSIS (now DOCSIS 4.0 technology), stating that the technology is poised to change cable networks.
