Advanced Video Services
There are more ways of interacting with your television than just clicking on the remote control. Cable operators are rapidly adding new technology to their headends so they can support interactive digital video products and services. We have based our approach on globally recognized standards such as DLNA and HTML5.
Advertising & Interactive Services
By improving advanced advertising technologies, CableLabs is providing the cable industry new and powerful ways for advertisers to deliver their message – through interactive, targeted and addressable formats. CableLabs has established EBIF, SaFI, and other specifications as the technical foundation for this work, as well as helping develop industry standards such as SCTE 130.
This is the Advertising and Interactive Services Project at CableLabs.
