CableLabs OLCA Specifications

OLCA issued technical specifications publicly available for manufacturers to reference are provided in PDF format only. Issued specifications undergo changes through an open Engineering Change Process.

Consistent with current CableLabs' practice, Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) approved for the OLCA specification are considered part of the applicable specification, even though they may not yet be included in a published version of that specification. Once approved, they are available on the public Web page. That Web page will state if there are no ECNs for the project.

The ECNs and the issued specifications must be examined in order to fully understand specific requirements. Once ECNs are incorporated into the specification and the next version of the specification has been published, those incorporated ECNs will be removed from the public Web page and archived in DocZone.
